Faye 🦋

Faye is a personal AI assistant that knows my life, handles tasks, and thinks alongside me. My longer-term goal is to build something like Samantha from Her: an AI that genuinely understands you.

Why “Faye”?

I named her after Faye Wong (王菲).

I first learned about Faye in primary school, when I stumbled onto a show all about her music, fashion, and life. I was amazed by her style — she was just unique. She's cool, and she doesn't talk much. Her voice is like an angel's, and her taste is impeccable.

She's the one who introduced me to dream pop — and to the Cocteau Twins, whom she collaborated with on 浮躁 (Fúzào, 1996), one of my favorite albums of all time.

And Heaven or Las Vegas by the Cocteau Twins is sublime.
