I'm a software engineer at Google, working on Search AI Mode and Overviews — particularly establishing eval systems for agent harness optimization to achieve recursive self-improvement. I'm also an RL researcher interested in how agents learn to reason and cooperate. Previously studied at Cornell.

I'm building Faye 🦋 — a personal AI assistant that knows my life, handles tasks, and thinks alongside me. My longer-term goal is to build something like Samantha from Her: an AI that genuinely understands you.

I'm also building Perch — an agent harness optimizer for recursive self-improvement.

Outside of work, I love music, think about philosophy, express myself through fashion, and travel. I'm based in San Francisco, originally from Hunan, China.
